Course Description
- The tremendous applications of embedded systems have given rise to high demand for engineers with
experience in designing and implementing embedded systems. - The purpose of this course is to enable students with concepts of Embedded Systems and go
through a live project that provides a hands-on experience.
Eligibility Criteria
- This course is for students who are passionate about Electronics and Embedded Systems. That is the first and foremost eligibility criteria. You need to have Degree/Diploma in Electronics Engineering. You should be familiar with basics of Programming, preferably C programming.
Course Structure
- The course will include a mix of theory and practical sessions spread over 3 months. The course will be delivered live on one of the popular video conferencing platforms like Zoom. You are encouraged to interact with the trainer and clarify your doubts and questions.
- Theoretical concepts will be followed by practical application to reinforce your learning. You will be given assignments that must be submitted on time. You will also work on projects individually or in groups. You will be using many popular tools from Embedded Systems ecosystem.
- You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
Course Curriculum
- Overview of Microprocessors and Microcontrollers.
- Memory (RAM, Flash, SD card, Seriel EEPROM).
- Peripherals, IDE.
- Cross Compilers
- C Language Programming
- Assembly Language Programming
- Compilers, Linkers, Debuggers, IDE tools
- Microcontroller/Microprocessor Interfacing
- RTOS and embedded Systems Programming
- Communication Protocols, RS232, USB, CAN, J1850, RF, Bluetooth, WiFI
Students will have to do 3 live projects as part of the program.
- Introduction to the Development Kit / Evaluation boards
- Hands-on programming in C Language on Development Kit/ Evaluation Boards
- Project Demo
Course Duration
10 hours per week over 3 months of training. (Assignment and project time are additional.)
Two-hour sessions will be conducted on weekday morning ( 8 AM to 10 AM)
